I have been in motorsport virtually my entire life, beginning in 1966 when I started in rally and “grass track” competition.
Since then my curriculum vitae includes being test driver for Reynard Race Cars; winning factory driver in the British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) for both Alfa Romeo and Chrysler U.K.; winner of dozens of open-wheel races – including finishing second in the British FF2000 championship twice – and winner of the Avon Motor Magazine Tour of Britain Manufacturer’s prize.

Throughout the years while racing in Great Britain and Europe, I was also mentor and coach for dozens of professional and amateur drivers. After moving to Lakeville in the 80's as an instructor for the Skip Barber BMW Driving School I eventually becoming EVP of SBRS until 2004. I then headed the startup and running of Formula BMW U.S.A.
In 2009 Skip invited me to be director of the Lime Rock Drivers Club, where it has been my great pleasure to help members to become the very best drivers they can be.
